The 10 Rules of Being Human

We all start and end the same way.

In the hustle and bustle of everyday life, in the constant rush after something, which many times we don't even know exactly what, we forget that we are Human Beings.

We are not computers, simply composed of a processor, a graphics and a sound card. We are the highest and most advanced technological version that exists. Can you imagine running a program from today on a computer from 15 years ago? Impossible of course! The software evolves and so does the hardware. But do we do the same with ourselves? If you're reading this, you probably care about your software, but do we care enough and evolve our hardware at the same rate? He's the one who will bear everything we load him with. It is a pure law of physics.

We have an enormous capacity for imagination and realization (everything that the Human Being has done until today is nothing new for anyone) but if, and only if, we have the capacity to realize that we have to take care very, very well and in the first place of our hardware.

Let me remember the 10 Rules of Being Human:

1. You received a body. You can love it or hate it, but it will be what you want while you're here;

2. You will learn several lessons. You an informal full-time job at a school called Life. You may like these lessons or think they are irrelevant and stupid;

3. There are no failures, only lessons. Growth is a trial and error process: experimentation. Failed experiments are as much a part of the process as the experiments that worked;

4. A lesson is always repeated until you learn it. A lesson will be presented to you in various ways until you have learned it. Once you do, you'll move on to the next lesson;

5. Lessons will never end. There is no part of life that does not contain lessons. If you are alive then you have lessons to learn;

6. There is no better place than here. When your "there" becomes your "here", your new "there" will always look better than "here";

7. Others are merely mirrors of you. You cannot love or hate something about another person unless it reflects something you love or hate about yourself;

8. What you do with your life is up to you. You have all the tools and resources you need. What you do with them is up to you, the choice will always be yours;

9. All the answers are within you. You just need to look, listen and trust;

10. You'll forget everything you've just read!
